Passenger services – Regular timetabled trains
Use our resources to plan, provide and operate regular timetabled steam and diesel passenger services
West Coast Railways has many years experience of operating regular timetabled services and, in 2005, operated six regular services in England, Scotland and Wales. Perhaps the best known is our own flagship service, ‘The Jacobite', which we have operated for 11 years, between Fort William and Mallaig. (To find out further information on the Jacobite please click the image on the left to go to Jacobite web page.)

West Coast Railways is again operating the vast majority of timetabled special services in 2006. We are also a Corporate Partner Sponsor of The National Railway Museum, in York, and we are, again, operating services on their behalf, this year. For further information on these services please go to our links page.
We offer timetable planning and service resource planning, for both other Train Operators and promoters. Please note that these services require a long lead time to book paths with Network Rail.
